any one knows how to make this a task file, so that it runs automatically as a desired time.

UPDATE ibf_topics SET views = '5' WHERE views = '0' ;

or better this task runs automatically every 5 min and adds 1 to the count.

This isn't related to an invision forum? That's interesting, because it sounds just like what you were asking to do here.

Michael technically they are both different questions. And you chose to make lame comments on your site rather than helping, thats why the post was closed there. You could have helped there ???

He could, but he choose not to. And so will I.

I can't see the reason why you are ruing your board by destroying the stats. There are many other ways to get members to register. Or when someone do register, they'll quickly find out that the topic views are just random, and that doesn't make you look cool.

Plus, this question in as related to IP.Board as it could be. You are asking how to create a task file, that eventually will go into IP.Board's taskmanager, and modify the IP.Board database. How is that not IP.Board related?

Don't know why this is still going on but at the end of the day its not short answer so i'm not going to answer it especially when its in the wrong forum and he's been told to go to the right forum a couple of times. This thread just needs closing.
